Art Collectives

Vanilla Galleries is an Art Collective that I have been a part of since it was founded. To date we have successfully launched two temporary gallery spaces and one project space, the first gallery and project space was in Loughborough and the second was in the centre of Leicester. We have also hosted and organised numerous events in the Midlands from art festivals to group exhibitions. In 2011 Vanilla Galleries has secured a large space named the Two Queens in the heart of Leicester and will be an exhibition venue and studio space. More details to come shortly.

Exhibitions

Many Ogilvy Hands Exhibition at the Coley Porter Bell Offices in London helped raise funds to build schools in Uganda. The exhibition is organised by the Ogilvy Group and is in aid of charity.

I will be taking part in the Personna Art Festival  from 4-8th May 2011, working with Antria Pelekanou once again, following up from the successful show A Moving Exhibition which I participated in last year. Persona Art Festival is a unique opportunity for innovative and emerging artists to exhibit their work in a major contemporary art show in London.

A Moving Exhibition was a traveling show exhibiting work across six venues in London. I was part of the inaugural show at the University of East London AVA Gallery which was organized by emerging curator Antria Pelekanou.

Zeene

Produced by Greg Evans and Nick O'Reardon ZEENE is an irregular fanzine, in every sense of the word. Topics are based on words picked out of a hat, so far that has given us zines on cups, baseball and cake. They are produced when the two finish them, which can take anything from 24 hours to 3 months. A worthy note, Kevin Costner has a copy of issue one.
