Spitklapp II
Spitklapp II If furniture was never invented, our muscles would be freed and our skeletons happier. The question is - how have we evolved since design? What can interiors teach us about our contradictory desires for comfort? Is the nine-to-five biological model not one of indirect self-harm? Contra-evolutionary and progressively lazy, furniture relies upon the needs for states of nothingness. These moments of anti-life and vapid futility become so overwhelming we have lost the clear-mindedness to look. Robert West | Alistair Pett & Luci Eldridge | Gino Attwood | Dave Briggs | Jonathan Ryall | Greg Evans | Chris Cawkwell | Tom Sansome & Richard Sellears | Caylee Farndon-Taylor | Guitarist – John Cheeseman. -
Bang
'Bang' was artists reacting to the space and to embrace the local surroundings. The result? A fantastic exhibition!
